COACHING YOUTH DARTS

LEAGUE RULES GENERAL RULES RESPONSIBILITIES
CONSENT WAIVER CHAPERONES TOURNAMENTS

The responsibility of teaching "new" Dart players' the skills and courtesies of the game can sometimes be difficult. As Coaches, we have a tendancy to show them "our" mistakes, therefore we must be careful to avoid what we are used to doing as an adult dart player, which may not always be the "right" way. We should show a technique, then allow the Youth to develop their own style, all the time making adjustments as they progress. We also have to teach them the Rules and Regulations of the Game, along with "Game Etiquette. But remember we are teaching the game of darts to future "Champions", remember to show them how to have some fun along the way!
