Incredible Fantasy/Fiction!
"Voyage of the Basset" is a wonderfully, beautifully
illustrated masterpiece that has
displaced my all time favorite book from childhood.
Any true lover of mythology, fantasy, folklore, faerie tales and the like
will simply adore it. This is not just a 'children's' book- no, there are
so many different levels that the author plays on that I find this book
to be an amusing & amazing must have! I've sent it to several friends
already, and given it to my Godson, nieces, and nephews to enjoy in the
years to come. A wonderful book!

Incredible Artwork!
I received this book, and I am so amazed by the
intricate, beautiful, colorful, exquisite drawings in this book! Fantasy
creatures are my favorite, and Christensen delivers them all: fairies,
dragons, nymphs, trolls, minotaurs, etc. This book is a true gem! Absolutely
gorgeous artwork!

The most enchanting book I have ever read.
I am 14 years old and I was captivated by this
book. The story was wonderful in itself and the pictures took you right
into it. It brings classic mythology together with original charcters,
for an origingal story. In short- I loved it and would recomend it to everyone.

How wonderful it is to be reminded that imagination
lives...
Voyage of the Basset is a beautifully illustrated
book in which each character is thoroughly explained by their role in the
story. I think children and adults alike will love the fantasy journey
of a family who has just suffered a loss and searches for their own individual
needs through imagination...maybe...who knows, one day, a faery may tickle
your ear!
