Unlike hotels, Bed & Breakfasts rely heavily on their reservations. Last minute or short notice cancellations can translate into a significant loss of revenue and livelyhood for B&B hosts. With longer cancellations the B&B hosts will have a greater chance of rebooking rooms while with last minunte and short notice cancellations chances are unlikely the room will be booked. Accordingly, Niagara-on-the-Lake B&B Service's cancellation policy is as follows:

• no less than two weeks (14 days) notice of cancellation from first day of reservation for a full refund
• cancellations may be made by phone, fax or mail
• cancellations received by mail must be received no less two weeks before the reservation date
• less than two weeks (14 days) notice will result in full charges for the number of room(s) and days reserved to your credit card
• if making reservations within two weeks of reservations - be certain you are coming as cancellation will also result in full charges for the number of room(s) and days reserved to your credit card
