2011 DEFICIT OFFICIALLY ELIMINATED!!
Thank you to everyone who participated in "Give your
Age". We
have officially eliminated our 2011 deficit with money to spare! The Visionary
Board intends to direct the additional proceeds ($2,671.) to the Missions
and Service ministries we were unable to contribute to in 2011.

Eden Sausage orders can be placed in Gayle Neufeld’s mailbox by February 12th or can be ordered online @ www.edenschoolcouncil.ca/fundraisers-sausage.
The Colombia Team continues with its plans for the learning trip and visit to our sister church in Pereira, Colombia. A yellow sheet in the foyer offers information on how you can partner with the team in prayer and financially.
The date for our annual Pleasant Manor Tea has been set for Monday, February 20 for 10 a.m. We invite all those who are either members or participants at Bethany and who live in the Pleasant Manor Complex to join us on the 20th in the meeting room below the Creekview apartments. We also invite others from our church family to join us to visit with our guests. We also need several people to bring goodies for our refreshments. The Bethany Junior Youth will be meeting for table talk on Feb 23! Please arrive at 5:30 for dinner and then afterwards we will be having our regularly schedule youth night.
Do you love to pray? The spiritual discipline of prayer is one way that we connect with God as well as support each other. Beginning on Feb 22, you are invited to come and be a part of a new prayer group. We will meet for a time of prayer starting at 9 am, followed by a coffee time at 10 am. Come one, come all and meet with our Lord through prayer.
Food Drive – Our winter food drive will be for Welcome Inn. Items in greatest need are: cereal, pancake mix and syrup, granola bars, juice boxes, fruit cups, school snacks, peanut butter & jam. Please give generously.

Silver Lake Mennonite Camp – Registration is now open for summer 2012 with programming available for campers ages 6-16. Housing Partnership in Attawapiskat By invitation, MCC Ontario is sending small teams of skilled trades people for 2 week periods beginning February 1. Teams will work under local leadership in setting up modular homes and learning about the first peoples who welcomed us here. Are you living with a mood disorder? Come to our Living Room peer support group, where you can share your experience and hear the stories of others in a non-judgemental setting.
