Sept 28th 2008 first generation Classik Movie Atypical Form, Expected Sonorous Beauty Linn’s latest sub is certainly a design-departure, with an incredibly unique cabinet design in a subwoofer, that is as discreet and attractive as it is musical. The low-profile design is one that evokes curiosity, appreciation, and can even be wall or ceiling mounted. The Komponent 120 Bass-Reinforcement loudspeaker is the pitch-accurate foundation of the Komponent series of speakers. All of these units feature single piece aluminum cabinets, and the Komponent 120 is completely self-powered to ensure satisfying bass response in any system. The Komponent, at an astonishing 14.2 centimeters of depth, is an interesting piece of equipment, especially when compared with traditionally designed subwoofers like the Linn Sizmik.
