The rugged, durable construction makes the CL11 an excellent choice for camping and cottage use. With its stable double-chined hull, wide beam and simple sloop it is
also ideal for beginners and for teaching children how to sail.
The CL 11 is easily handled by two people and mast stepping requires the adjustment of only one turnbuckle. The pivoting centerboard and rudder blade are convenient when launching and beaching the boat and when sailing in shallow waters.
Under sail the CL11 is light and responsive and will delight any helmsman. Many are solo sailed. Oarlocks may be fitted, converting to a rowing dinghy, and a small outboard motor maybe fitted to further meet your boating needs. The CL11 can be trailered, car-topped or carried on you camper.
