Well well!
Stumbled across this site.
I didn't know the Wayfarer people in Britain
built a 14 foot model.
Seems a bit expensive when you convert to Canadian dollars. http://www.anglomarineservices.co.uk/

Guys..
If you go into the Brit site...check out the trailers.
They use a normal trailer with a dolly mechanism attached.
Looks like you pull out the dolly part for launching or retrival.
Sure would save the trailer rear wheels from salt water corrosion.

Interesting boat. I notice that the designer is Ian Proctor who is responsible for the Wayfarer design and indirectly the CL 11/14/16. I also notice that the wave limits for thwe craft are stated at 2 metres and maximum wind usage is Beaufort Force 6. Those are pretty much the conditions I faced last fall in "Celtic Kiss" with relative ease.

Did you notice the 'Challenger' model while you visited the Brit site?
They say it was designed for disabled sailors.

Don;

The "Challenger" looks quite interesting. Last year I was introduced to catamaran sailing for people with disabilities. The drawback to that is that the skipper (usually disabled) requires an able-bodied crew member to do all the grunt work (usually me) We (Dale and myself) may enter the HOBIE 16 (Trapseat) WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Kelowna B.C. on the May long weekend.

On June 1 I will be heading back to NS to spend some time with Celtic Kiss again. The website you sent me earlier has been a great help in my Route planning. Are the Tall Ships still coming to Halifax this summer?
