I bought a 1991 CL14 recently. I am very pleased with it. I get a lot of centreboard vibration a certain speeds and headings. Is there some way to minimize this? I also get a lot of squeeking in the fittings. What lubricant should I use? Also what do I put around the side stays to keep them from abraiding the jib sheets?

I wonder if you can buy a smaller version of the white plastic tubes which are used on
larger sailboats?

A friend with a 21 foot Hobie Cat slaps lots
of black electrical tape around the pins and ring clips used to fasten the shrouds to deck.
