From the trailer. Set up a sawhorse to support the steern. The weight of the boat should not be on the two keel strips on the bottom, but on the hull bottom.
This will keep enough elevation from the hull bottom to the ground level to put the centerboard in full down position.
Unscrew the pivot bolt and lift it up from the cockpit.
The centerboard trunk slot is not big enough to remove the board without have the board perpendicular to the ground.

ALSO Today I have my boat in the driveway and as soon as I finish these postings I will set up my new reefing for the main and attach the revised genoa downhaul.
I will let you all know how it works out later.
