I just found the greatest little sailing club ever. It's the Oxford Sailing Club and is located in a conservation area on a flood control reservoir in southwestern Ontario... right near Woodstock. Has a fully equipped club house, slips for your boat and most important a group of members who are interested in sailing, socializing and having fun. They were very welcoming to my wife and me when we dropped in. Other clubs I have belonged to seem to get caught up in the bureacracy of running the organization and forget about the real reason anyone is there... to sail.

It also only costs $150 a year with no additional costs other than the season pass for the conservation area. It's about a 50 minute drive from where I live in London but it's worth it.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with CL sailboats(except mine now is also happy with her new home)... I just wanted to celebrate a bit with people who would understand.

Fair winds everyone.

It's always great to find a home for your boat. Hope that you have a great and safe sailing season....Ken
