I'm getting dangerously close to understanding how this works. I have one question though. When I described what had to be done to a computer literate friend, he suggested posting the photos on geocities.com. As I went through their programme I ended up with a page containing 4 small photos (And a celtic border to boot).Where do you guys post your photos so that they are shown on the CL forum in a larger format? Thanks, D'Arcy

Thanks Superpiper. I was in the cabin today and just can't believe how new the fibreglass looks. The original owner must have made the crew wear special slippers. It's that good...just like new on the cabin floor and all around under the seats and the companionway. Now I have the responsibility to keep it up. The picture looked even better before my son reduced it and e-mailed it to me.

I guess I must get some photos of my sandpiper on here, too. But first, I am going to clean it up a bit. Especially after seeing the great photos everybody has posted. I spent some time this winter getting the boat ship shape, but I didn't make big changes.

How about something a bit more challenging and worthy of our Sandpipers? see ** http://www.rnsys.com/Welcome.html ** see 'Route HSP' Halifax to St. Pierre race. Not much time for this year but 2006 will be here before you know it.[This message has been edited by whited (edited June 27, 2004).]

Sandpipers to St. Pierre!Don, let's do it in 2006. I am serious. Let's get the fleet together for the event. It will be a rendevous & an international cruise. I will send you a cheque. I nominate Don White as chairman.

The optional cruise version may be better for small boats like ours. They follow the coast up to Louisburg, Cape Breton & then cross.
