We just bought a used Code 40 a couple of weeks ago. There are no markings on the hull, but it looks like a Code 40 and the sails that were with the boat have "Code 40" on them with #101. But the manufacturer's label on the inside of the transom says "Built by: Nautitec Inc., Saint Esprit, Quebec." Is this an early prototype? Or did Nautitec become CL? I would like to be able to track the history of this boat.

Hello:

The Code 4o was a popular design built at one time by about 4 didffernt builders. Your boat if from one of these different builders.
