Wind Chime gave us just a short taste of the rugged beauty of Canada's North Channel.

Anchored for lunch break in North Benjamin.

A short hop over to Croker Island for the night.

Jonathan takes in the breathtaking view of the Croker anchorage looking north.

Panning 90 degrees to the west we view, L-R, the stunning outline of the "Sow and Pigs" rocks (far left), South Benjamin, and the South and North Benjamin anchorage, which many say is the prettiest in the NC.

Finally, a photo of Wind Chime's neighbours who join the group seeking refuge at Croker.

See you all, Lord willing, when we arrive home from the Rendezvous.

Wow!! What a beautiful anchorage Stan. Lynda and I have talked about cruising the North Channel and your pictures have convinced us to go. Thanks for posting them.

Just do it D'Arcy. Shortwave sailed from Killarney, Frazier Bay, and then on to Little Current and beyond back in 2000. There are plenty of tiny bays avaailable to these smaller boats which large vessels pass up or don't even notice.

I was all set to go (boat completely packed ready to go for a week) last Thursday, but the guy I was going to sail with had to back out.
The pics make me feel disappointed. Would have been really cool.
The weather has been not the best tho so that's some consolation.
I'm only 2-3 days sail away.
