After horribly scribbled up the previous crossword on GAM, I have opted for a pencil. Unfortunately, I am having troubles with certain words in the latest crossword, such as: A) #11 vert, to hold sails in, four letter word with second letter *a*. B) #25 vert, same question, but five letters, with 2nd letter possibly being *a*, 3rd *c* and last *s*. I thought of "jacks", but I wasn't sure. This is only the beginning, since I only have 20 of the 68 words in. Why can't they make the crosswords like the Novemeber/December one. ------------------ Canadian Sailor ;) "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes."

CS; Jacks looks good to me. I never did the crossword before, it doesn't look easy. ------------------ Robert Celtic Kiss #2120

All the crosswords are hard... GRR... I'm currently doing the Sep/Oct one, and the April one. They are both VERY difficult... I always get one corner, then I get stumped on the rest.------------------ Canadian Sailor ;) "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. I try to avoid crosswords etc. and anything else that requires me to think too much. It's not nearly as stressful.

Well, I bought the GAM issues for May and June in one go, so I was able to get a little "help" from the later issue. However, one other question... what is the most popular sailboat race, in six letters. I've got something like RAPIDE, but I'm not too sure...
all help is appreciated ------------------ Canadian Sailor ;) "Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes."
