That's an interesting place for your fishfinder? brightwork looks superb. I haden't thought about mounting a cleat down through the hand hold, but as long as the backing plate is big enough I imagine it would work well. I'll have to decide this fall where to mount mine as I want main halyard and douser/reef lines to come back to the cockpit for single handed operation
