I have been giving some thought to rigging the jib sheets into a continuous system.
perhaps running the lines back along the gunwales.
any Ideas?
has anyone seen this done?

Chris;

I've never considered a continuous sheeting system for the jib. Personally I don't think it's necessary and would only serve to clutter the cockpit with more lines.

IF the wind picks up I sometimes tie the sheets together. This allows me to grab only one and the other is already attached. I don't think it would be as good with a crew member.

We had continuous jib sheets on our Int 14 (see previous post "more questions"). It usually reduces the amount of line since the one continuous line is shorter than two sheets combined.
