The hull design of the CL and the Wayfarer are pretty much identical but I notice that the rudder shapes between the boats are quite different from each other. The rudder on the Wayfarer appears to be deeper than that of the CL.

Could you please tell us what the pros and cons are of each rudder shape? Is the deep rudder of the Wayfarer more stable because it can get a better "bite" on the water?
