Hey Piper576
Where do you sail on Lake Superior? What types of conditions have you encountered and how did your Sandpiper respond?

Hello Elmet3
I sail around Goulais & Batchawana Bay area, 46.45 - 84.35
The conditions vary but I am really impressed with the way the piper handels. I have not been in very heavy weather with her yet. Had some large waves last year while going to Ile Parisiene got caught in a North/Westerly storm with 5 foot waves it was great didnt have to reduce sail but Il keep you posted this year ( if the ice ever leaves )

Sounds terrific. I have only heard good things about the Sandpiper out in big water. I will be out on Lake Erie soon and I just thought I'd check with someone with experience. I will not be out in 5 foot waves, though.
