Our spinnaker was made by Genco specifically for the Sandpiper. It is red, white and blue, and was recut in '94 for use as an (asymetrical) drifter reacher (DRS). This allows it to be flown without the use of a spinnaker pole and all the associated clutter of poles, guys, downhauls etc.
The tack (shorter edge of the sail facing forward) sheet is attached at the pulpit with a line running through a small turning block. The clew (bottom of the longer side) is controlled by two long sheets running outside the shrouds and lifelines to two turning blocks near the stern. This DRS can be easily gybed to change your tack without going forward to unhook anything.
In addition, it is deployed or stored with a funnel sleeve with large choker ring, controlled from the foredeck. (No more fishing the spinnaker out of the water!)

This sail has been lightly used.
