Call the marina in Deseronto. There's a first class Sandpiper-565 on a trailer for sale. They also indicated that they'd put an outboard motor on it for the price.
It looked in pretty decent shape and has interior and cockpit cushions too. The marina was advertising it in Auto Trader but I said that I'd put in a plug here. I think that the price should be pretty reasonable as they didn't really know much about sailboats. Look them up before the snow flies again.
We also saw another S-565 tacking up the bay near Belleville.
We sailed ShortWave from Toronto eastward as far as Picton and Pryner's Cove on Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County before returning home, 23 days in all. Met Al from CFB Trenton to compare notes on our boats. More details on our 400 nautical mile trip soon.
