Robert or anyone else involved with sailboats.....
check out http://www.sailboatsales.com/
Appears owner is ready to sell small sailboat business. Wonder if a person could make a living at it?
I retire from CBC Dec. 31 after 32 years service and something like this could be interesting. On the other hand, I'd rather work November-April and keep the summer for sailing and fun.

Don:

You're reading my mind. My dream is to do something like that in Port Hawkesbury someday.

Hey guys. Quietwaters is about 30-45 min drive from me. Want me to take him an offer?(with your financial backing;D)

I visited there about a month ago. Don he's got a couple of nice Sandpipers for sale! They would be yours for the taking!

Must be a tough business in the winter. But I thought if you close down for a month, you could trailer south and sail! Just have to be back for the January boat show!

I could trailer the Sandpiper down to the Florida Keys and sail over to the British Virgin Islands to visit my buddy.
Sounds like a good plan.

I'd join if I were richer and older. But it still sounds like a great idea!

There is an old quote: Question: How do you make a little money in the boat business?
Answer: Start with a lot of money.

That being said I dream about it often.
