Price sounds almost low. Check over hull for any signs of repair. How big a person are you? My impression is the CL 11 and the Echo are good for 'junior' sailors rather than 'full sized' adults.

I bought a 1984 cl-11 last year for 700$. It's a small boat but it's a charm to rig and sail it by yourself. There's actually enough room for two adults but not much more.

Do check the flottation foam because if it's water logged like mine is you find yourself with one heavy boat and with some work to do. On my boat one of the previous owner made a hole to empty the cockpit via the drain plug in the back.

But at 700$ it was still a good buy since the sails and mast are in great shape.

All times are ET(US)
