Have any of you seen this - a Moth with hydrofoils. This is the new technology: better than fibreglass. (I hope the photo works for me).

Pic worked great!
I think I've seen that type of hydrofoil in a magazine or something! Wicked eh

I like the name of the boat too! Seems like an appropriate handle!

Hmmmm

I'm looking for a high performance boat but I think I'm hooked on catamarans.

Robert...thinking of trading Celtic Kiss in on a Hobie Cat?
When I get a wetsuit, I'll try our skipper's 21' Hobie. The gang seems to get a rush out of that.

Don:

I'd have to be on serious drugs to part with Celtic Kiss.

WoW.

Hmmm... does anyone know where I can procur myself an ice-sailor? I read the article in the latest GAM and I really want to try it...

CS:

Get in touch with Karin Larsin at GAM. No doubt she'll have some info for you.

During my earlier years at CL (I have been hanging around since I was 11..) I rigged a laser with a 470 rig... We were adding wing type extensions to the gunwale to aid in keeping her flat but I picked up a used I14 and never finished the "crazymans finn". Anyone want to invest in the CL 13?

Cheers,

Speaking of redesigning boats... my friends and I had some great ideas for making a "Laser 3", a boat that would uniquely serve to play pirates (invade the others boats and so on). Too bad when we practiced this on a Laser 2 the bow or the stern usually was close to going under.
