Picked up a complimentary issue on the Feb Canadian Yachting magazine at our boat show. On page 19 was the CL advertisement for the new 'Stealth'. 14 knots eh? I could almost catch my buddies Hobie 21....not! I'd have to do 20 knots or better for that.
Pretty radical. Wonder if we'll see any at the rendezvous this July?

What did you think of the boat show? I went too, I liked the C&C, wait, all of them were amazing.

If you were thinking of buying something, but didn't, just to let you know, MMOS is moving in April, and when they do, they plan on having as big a sale, if not larger in their new store up in Chain Lake.

P.S. Found out there may be a chance that I will be able to crew on a boat in this year's Marblehead to Halifax race...Its the 100th anniversary as well. Stay tuned!!!!!

The boat show seemed a bit more entertaining this year. that new 'Cabot 39' (produced in Dartmouth?) was tempting. :-)
I didn't buy anything but got to 1.5 seminars. I arrived half the way through 'Small Boat Magic' which was more about building than sailing...and took in the Surveying seminar. The only things I bought there were a membership to the Mahone Bay Preservation society which wants to buy up a few islands there and keep them out of 'merican hands, and a package of coated cashews...mmmmmm! A girl at the MMOS booth gave me a card for a gift at the grand opening, so I'll have to go.
Too bad they had to move. It was nice having them so close to the Binnacle.(although the parking sure disappeared with the sidewalk construction.
That's exciting about the Marblehead. My backdoor neighbour navigated on another former CBC'rs boat four years ago. If I didn't get seasick in the swells, I'd love to do that race and St Pierre. Hope it works out for you.
