I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of how the spinnaker is set up on a CL 14, or maybe even the 16. I've got a spinnaker for the boat, and a pole, but no hardware. Also, do you use a topping lift and all that for the pole like on "big" boats? Some pictures of how it should be rigged up and where hardware needs to go would be excellent.
Thanks.

I have a manual for the wayfarer that shows mostly racing tactics and setups. 1. The spinnaker boom has an uphaul/downhaul combination like the big boats. The downhaul should have an elastic section for flexibility. The guy/sheet are run through blocks set on the rear of the deck near the transom. The old manual on-line has some instructions but I have never been able to get the sketches to show or print. There are a lot of small boat rigging books available and West Marine ETC. Dinghys spinnaker rigging is similar on all of them. IF I can find access to a scanner I will copy the sketches and send them out. The spinnaker will give you a wild ride in a breeze. I have photo copies of several pages in the manual. If you give me a mailing address I can mail them to you. I will add notes to indicate where you can use simpler methods of operation and control. Tom D.
