i've noticed a few cracks in my rudder and some soft spots that i need to attend to and i'm concerned that my centerboard my also have some...my question is "Can i remove the centerboard from the top after i remove the bolt or does it have to come out the bottom?????" thanks....Dick

Dick, I think you'll be good from the top. I imagine the 14 is much the same as the 16 , and I have only removed the centreboard from the top - never even thought of doing it the other way. -Steve CL 16 #1474
