I just got an older CL-14, and looking at the CL website I see that there is jib furling hardware? I do not know how old my boat is, but I am assuming it is 15 years +/- is the furling something that was added on newer versions? IP: 67.40.204.125 |

Yes, my 1 1/2 year old CL14 has a furling jib that is standard on the boat. A forestay was also supplied with the boat in case I wanted to sail without the furling jib. I haven't used it yet, but am tempted to try. I think it might allow the boat to point a little higher.Bob IP: 208.25.203.2 |

Hi! I believe my CL-14 is a 1982 hull. It has the furling mechanism, and I love. Among other things It keeps the "foredeck" nice and tidy when the jib is not in use.HTH, Christy in Columbus Ohio IP: 65.60.163.13 |

Wow thank you all! .. I guess I am going to have to look at my hardware and see what I am missing in the way of the furling hardware! I think for me it might be on the 'see if i can get a bit lazy-er' side, but I am willing to go there! .Thanks again! IP: 67.40.204.125 |
