I recently bought a CL14 (#1697)and it came with a spinnaker. I have never sailed with a spinnaker. I think I understand how to use it except I am unclear on how the spinnaker pole is rigged. My pole has 2 cleat like pieces on each side at mid point. There is a eyestrap on the mast about 5 feet up the mast from the pole eyelets and a clam cleat near the base of the mast. How is the up-haul and down-haul attached to the pole and mast? Does anyone have a diagram or picture?
Thanks. RCH PS. I posted this yesterday in the general forum page.

the toping lit is fed through a block about 1/2 way between the deck and the forestay the downhaul is fed through a block on the deck. the only purpase of the downhaul is to stop the pole from bounching up and down in high winds. i race on a 25Ft boat as a fore deck so if you have more questions email me fishingguy666@hotmail.com
