Hi all ,
I am a laser sailor who just purchased a used 1972 cl 16. Just wondering what to expect from this boat. Any words of wisdom for a newbie ?

Welcome to the CL16. It is a great boat. It sails very well in a stiff breeze or light air. The boat is stable and has a lot of power with 140 sqft of sail. The double chine makes it very stable. The nearly flat aft section will let it plane nicely.
If you want some exciting stories look at the Wayfarer site. This is a duplicate of that boat.
