Well, pulled the boat yesterday with the help of a friend, and wouldn't you know, a photographer from the Chronicle Herald (One of Halifax's largest newspapers) took a shot of me loading up!!!!

Just saw that...what some people will do to get on the front page of the local rag! ;-)

I see they cheated you out of .25 meters...
leave it to those media people ...5.4 meters indeed!
My mast is on top of two plastic sawhorses in the back yard. I'll lay it flat on the ground in case any limbs fall from my giant Linden trees.

The Herald would be the largest paper in the Province...and most likely Atlantic Canada.
There's your 15 minutes of fame... at least until you save somebody's cat from a tree.

A 0.25 metre discrepancy on your PHRF certificate equates to about a 4 point advantage over a stock Sandpiper!

. . . save somebody's cat from a tree . . ? Is that a 2-hulled boat after a tropical storm?

The weekend weather in South-Eastern Ontario is promising to be beautiful. Sapphire is still in the water at the cottage. One last sail before she comes out. I am in the final stages of re-wiring the trailer lights (damn this rain). There is always the potential for a late-season sorti.

ATV showed the bigger boats being lifted out at Bedford Basin Yacht Club. Nice to see the 'little guys' get recognized.
