I will be taking KatieAnn up to Mullet Lake in Northern Michigan again this Sat.
I will be there for a week and hopefully a lot of sailing. The lake is 13,000+ acres.
I will have a narrative of my sailing escapades shortly after returning. This is probably my last sailing for the season.
good sailing to all of you.

Just checked that lake out on 'MapPoint'.
That is a good size. Don't get lost and happy sailing. ;-)

Lucky you Tom!! I'd die for a weeks worth of sailing I hope to go out on a buddies boat tomorrow.

It's a great time of year to be sailing though. Pleasant daytime highs, and usually a great wind!! Have a great time!

Eric

This is the perfect time of year for sailing.

Joanne and I just got back from taking Mallory to the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. We went by way of Port Huron, the Mackinac Bridge and US Hwy 28 & 2. Traffic in northern Michigan was stop'n'go due to all the construction. 25-1/2 hours to Winnipeg. On the way back, we came by way of Thunder Bay, Sault St. Marie and Sudbury. 22-1/2 hours coming back.

There were some incredible sea scapes as we looked out over Nippigon Bay. There were big islands, big waves and big wind. But there were no sailboats. Joanne and I have added this to our list of places to sail (but probably will not).

We are housebound for the long weekend. I may not get to play with Sapphire until September 24/25. It's a good thing that 'piper sailers don't mind cool weather.
