Well, Looks like Hurricane Ophelia is coming up the eastern seaboard and will graze Nova Scotia sometime Saturday. Probably will only be a tropical storm by then, but still cause to worry a bit. CoolBreeze is still in the water at the marina. I plan on leaving it in as it stands now. Our marina was completely rebuilt after being totally destroyed during Hurricane Yuan two yrs ago. It is very srong now, but I am still going to go down tomorrow to the boat and run some extra lines. If the storm gets upgraded, I will pull her out, the great convenience of a trailerable boat. If not, I'd be waiting in a long line for the lift.
So who's got good storm stories, of boats that ended up in odd places after the storm?

Those main docks at the Dartmouth Yacht Club are impressive. They did quite a job repairing the marina. I saw my old buddies boat on the far south finger. Rick died a couple of years ago but I see 'Salt Shaker' is still being sailed. Also saw Cool Breeze snug in her spot. My buddy was all excited when I told him I had the same boat. That club has quite the security system. You need a key to get both on and off the docking area.
