I went back over to Duck Lake today with my wife. This was her first time ever sailing. Conditions were perfect. The sky was a clear deep blue, and the winds were light with occasional gusts. She had a great time, so I think "Mission Accomplished". I knew it wouldn't be very hard. She loves all things natural, and as you all know, sailing makes you feel one with your suroundings. When we got going, and the sails were nice and full, I told her to "Look up". Her face said it all.IP: 24.11.147.143 |

Woohoo!!!!! Excellent! It's wonderful to be able to enjoy and share your sailing experiences with the ones you love .I was able to get out Sunday afternoon for a quick sail, with my sons. It's the Canadian Thankgiving this weekend, so mama was at home cooking turkey!! If the sun breaks out today, perhaps I'll make it out one last time with my wife. Fall sailing is great, although bittersweet!! Eric [This message has been edited by Eric (edited October 11, 2004).] IP: 206.172.173.45 |

That is great that she likes sailing. Mine is not a water person. Your great day sailing I spent at the park watching grandkids play football. It was a beautiful day. I wanted to pass by the lake (Lansing) to check out the activity, but the spouse and sister-in-law wanted to shop. I think my boat is put away for the season. Good Sailing Tom D.IP: 205.188.117.21 | |
