Thats quite the crew. Nice to see a family enjoying sailing. We've never sailed with four in the cockpit but are planning to start taking a few friends out for a day sail soon. We're trying to figure out which of our friends who won't freak out when the boat heals. Our kids are a bit bigger than yours Sid (over 6 feet tall) so they'd take up more room. Four adults is a crowd, but I've done it. I also have mounted two cleats futher back by three feet and ran the Jib Lines through them allowing me the single hand the boat with to many people on board. And no one else able to help me sail.In the picture you don't see that I had one more adult and a 3 year old in the boat. And my Valhalla Breeze had no problem takung care of all of us. My wife, her daughtor, three grandkids and myself. Sid IP: 64.12.117.21 |

My two sons are pretty big now also. the baby just turned 23 last month and is 6' 2" tall..probably weight around 200 lbs and wears size 14 shoes. It would be a tight fit for all four of us in the cockpit. i think I could be ready for some grandchildren in a few years. They would be more likely to listen to grandpa than their fathers did...I hope.IP: 142.177.155.245 |
