Beware Orange Boat!
Sapphire's design group is developing a new sail technology. It is based on the curbside recycling Blue Box.
By coincidence, the last 2 wind storms have occured on garbage days. In 2 wind storms, 2 Blue Boxes have sailed off to become litter on some neighbour's snow bank.
The new technology will be based on rigid, environmentally friendly sails. The secret is in the colour. Blue is apparently fastest.

I agree Dennis. Although I think dark blue is faster than light blue.

I do notice a difference with my brand new "blue" sails.

Darn you Tailpiper! You know my wife would never allow me to put blue sails on my orange boat.
Grrrrrr...... I gotta think of something, fast.

D'Arcy may be on to something. In the spectrum below, dark blue is more to the left than light blue. Orange probably fits the furthest to the left.
But white is the combination of all the wavelengths . . .

So, how would you place a boat with dark blue, light blue, AND white sails?
