In the boom vang thread, it was mentioned about West Marine having Harken at 25% off! Phoooey 
I called the store in Midland, about 40 minutes from me. I gave them a list of what I wanted, and the clerk gave me the prices. I asked about the 25 points, advertised on the website, and he said he didn't know about the sale on the website. He said I'd have to talk to the manager. I didn't. I figure it wasn't worth the time having to dicker for a few bucks ($54 as it turns out!).
I called my local hardware store with the small marine dept. Gave him the same list. His prices were approximately 28% cheaper than the quoted WM prices. I didn't even have to ask Jim for a discount!! Jim's prices were also less than the online Toronto chandleries, and the one in Ottawa! I don't have to drive hours, or pay shipping either
