Thanks for posting your website addy! I must say that the onboard bathtub is the neatest thing I've seen!! All the scenery shots are excellent! The best is the shots of the 2 beached Sandpipers! I've seen them together in marinas, but seldom sailing together! (I just haven't seen it). I was looking at the one picture and it showed a cheek block on the port grab handle with a line coming from the mast? going where? What is this for? Thanks. EricIP: 130.63.85.93 |

Hi Eric The block your are talking about, is the furling system of the jib.Not a real furler,it's jib out or close, nothing in between. The line is a non-stop line passing trough the block and going to the furler, not to the mast (optical illusion) I don't like this system,I am thinking of separate genois and jibs, and a new reef in the mainsail for strong wind up to 20-25 kn JeanIP: 132.208.210.39 |

Great photos! It's great to see other Sandpipers, what equipment you have aboard, where you put stuff, etc. IP: 152.163.253.101 |

Tip for BBQPropane is dangerous on board, because the gas is much heavyer than air and tend to accumulate in the bottom of the boat.A spark...kaboom! But a BBQ....mmmmm! I find a good place to put the gas can... In the anchor locker If the can leak, gas escape by the water drain Bon appetit ! Jean
