I notice that when sailing in heavy wind there is a definite bend in my CL16 mast. When sitting on the front deck and looking up the mast it appears to bend out to leeward between the point that the shroud attaches to the mast and the top of the mast. Does this mean my shrouds are too tight or is this normal. The leeward shroud is quite slack.

Leeward shroud should be loose, dunno about the mastbend though.
