Six boats have registered to date.

Our butcher tells me that our "rack of pork" will be succulent and spiced just right. I can smell it now! And our chef is preparing a layout of tasty down-home summer salads. Mmmm

We appreciate the royal treatment received from the butcher, the marina people, and by our CL staff. Thanks all.

Presently we're trying to finish working out computer logistics for what we think is a simple but characteristic and tasteful t-shirt design (as far as t-shirts go ).

"Wind Chime" has taken a test run at Belwood in light air. More maintenance and refitting is yet to be done. Skipper and crew are trying to get into shape by club-racing our CL16 #1021 "Intermezzo".

Rendezvous promises to be a most enjoyable time for the whole family. Email me for a Rendezvous Registration form: compasspoints@hotmail.com

I understand that this is the first rendevous. Depending on how this one turns out were we looking at having it yearly , once every two years....?

I would like to come to this one but I'm almost out of holidays. We took a winter one this year.

We have a week long race up my way yearly called "LOWISA" which is short for "Lake of the Woods International Saling Association". check out the website (www.lowisa.org) they have it broken down to two types: cruising with racing and the die hard racing. We can join in with them or take ideas from them and see if we can get the Siren 17 group and the DS16 group to join us. This way we all have similar size boats and we are all minimalist type sailors.

Patrick, my guess is that we're wide open for future shaping. Last fall, it just seemed to me that we needed to get something started.

This year, we're getting acquainted and feeling our way. Questions about the future will be asked at the Rendezvous, and on the Forum during August.

Thanks for your input.
