Are the sails on the sandpiper dinghy or scaled down cruising sails? I am asking because after being without the jib for almost a month while it was getting repaired, I would like to have spare sails. While checking out the used sail market, it seems the sails of similar dimensions are all dinghy sails. Will dinghy sails work on the Sandpiper?

Measure the leach luff and foot dimensions and try to get something that is of similar dimensions, with the luff (front end) being the most important measure to match.
