Does anyone have suggestions for repairing tiny holes [less than 3 mm] in sails?
Thanks in advance, Martin

I repair my own sails as I do upholstery work. I know West Marine have sail repair kits. How well they work I don't know.

Put a little piece of sail tape( sold in marine shops etc..) on each side of the sail over the hole. Instructions on how much more tape than the size of the hole will be on the the tape container. On my box of tape it says that you should bring your sail to a sail maker to sew the patch (sail tape strip.)later. But just the the tape strips without sewing them in will prevent further ripping.

I have used the Sail Tape on my CL16 many times and it works well. Tom D.

Cut the tape into circles before applying, would be all I'd add.
