i left a post concerning my sandpiper a week ago and didn't seem to generate much intrest, so let me try again. due to a sudden relocation my '75 Sandpiper, hull # 127 needs a new home. Not wanting to be responsible for a derelict boat spending her final years on a trailer and the guilt that would cause please note the following, if you are anywhere near Northern MI and have a vehicle with a hitch you can be the captain of this fine vessel, today! or you can share in the guilt of the loss of a fine classic. ACT NOW. Happy 4th of July.

If only this was 45 days ago. I drove halfway to your location to pay $5K for a 'Piper. I wonder if the people at CL would be interested. They are just across from Buffalo NY.
Is the boat fixable?

What am I thinking.. Tom on this board is quite experienced working on his CL 16 and lives in Michigan. Wonder if he'd like to expand his fleet?

Here's the 'Piper I bought in Quebec on May 14. http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v252/whited/Sandpiper_1162.jpg

One boat is about all I can handle.

We just bought a 79 Sandpiper. Our friend of ours was also interested in the boat. We didn't know. We emailed him to let him know about your boat.

DCoon, it may be helpful to give some particulars on your boat, equipment, cost etc.
Also look at the following link. There are a couple of guys looking here. You could also post an ad. http://pub.alxnet.com/guestbook?id=1014078

Hope this helps.

I would love to enhance my fleet. I just got rid of a 1 sheet skiff. Still have 3 boats. Spouse says NO more boats until I get rid of some. I think I am too late for this one. Damn I will be near the bridge in September. If it doesn't go let me know I will take to Florida with me.

dcoon;
after seeing your piper today, Robert lives just down the road from me, I cant believe you could not sell her for something. Its not really in bad shape a little elbow greese and I bet she will be like new.
Im almost regreting telling him about it but like Tom, my wife said no more till I get rid of some as well. Hope all goes well in the move, have a great summer

Yes the boat is gone, My neigbour down the road picked it up. It needs a little TLC but for the drive and tax,s he got a great deal - Under $500. Cnd that include gas, meals, taxes at border ect.
Cant believe the boat had to change countries to get an owner.
