Finally got my clothes line back up after Hurricane Juan trashed it last September. What was the first wash put out?? You guessed it...my Sandpiper mainsail. I strung it along the line, hosed it down, used my new boat brush and clothes detergent for a mild scrub and rinsed well. As we speak the main is drying in some welcomed sunshine and breeze. Next will be the jib.
