I am interested in buying a CL-16. I am willing to travel outside of Kingston to get the boat. I would like the boat to be in reasonably good condition. ChristineIP: 130.15.144.191 |

I will post a picture. I am so excited about getting a sailboat. I've wanted one for a long time. I'm sitting in an office and can't wait to get out in the sun and wind (we live in Kingston).... Hope it doesn't rain this weekend. Christine IP: 130.15.144.191 |

thanks Ken, I actuallly know that site. I seriously have wanted a boat for years but Ross, my husband was never that keen. Can you believe that, I thought all men loved sailing! Anyway I used to check out sites looking for CL16s to buy and that is how I came across the "boatforsail" site. You know what finally got Ross interested in buying a boat? Our kids have started to express and interest in sailing. It was his birthday on Tuesday, this great sailboat came up and we could say "we want to get you a sailboat for your birthday". He agreed!!!! Hmmmmmm... Actually he is the only one in the family who is an experienced sailor so maybe he knows something that we don't.Christine IP: 130.15.144.191 |

A CL 16 is probably a perfect size to buy for a small family to daysail. At about 360 pounds, it would be easy to trailer, launch & recover. The only thing you're missing is a head...but for the guys, any old can/pail will do.IP: 156.34.91.186 |

Christine, I just got back from a three day cruise/camp trip with a friend in a CL16. IT WAS A BLAST, and the boat is a beauty; has it all, and more. We were sailing in thermal winds that were gusting to 30 mph, and steady at 20; worst that happened was a buried rail and a bit of pumping. I am very happy that I bought one; now I just have to convince my wife...(any suggestions?) Cheers, DougIP: 70.71.7.15 |
