First time I am taking advantage of your forum. I am looking for drawings of photos of the centerboard CL 15. Became a first time owner of a used one late last year an trying to get it ready for the water. From what I read and hear am looking forward to having a lot of fun with this craft.
I find the on line manual helful, but would like to see more illustrations.
Thnks

Ray,
Not sure I get you there. My centreboard snapped and was lost a couple of years ago. I had to trace one from another CL16 to make a new one.
Are you looking for the dimensions?

...and is it a CL16 or 14?

Hi Steve.
Fast Reply. It's a CL 16 in rough shape and am planning on doing the same as you. Mine isn't broken but rotted and pieces are missing. This little boat spent 6 years hi and dry with no protection from our Maritime weather. A drawing would probably be perfect along with what I read in the online manual.
Thanks for your concern
Ray

Ray..back in 2000 I bought a CL 14 that had been sitting under a tarp for years. The original 1985 centerboard was de-laminating. I bit the bullet and ordered a new fibreglass one from CL. I moved up to a Sandpiper 565 and sold the 14 to another former co-worker.The boat now lives on the Back Harbour in Chester

A year or so ago I sent to someone on this board a tracing with dimensions of the CL16 centerboard. I was planning on making one of aluminum but the old one was fixed up and is still in use.
Maybe whoever has my tracing would forward it to you.

Thanks for your reply guys.
Seems a drawing or facsimilie is hard to come by for one of these centerboards. I have already made one out of plywood but would like to see one complete. The one that came with the boat was missing the handle, plus the metal stopper? I wonder if the manufacturer will be able to help me? Really not interested in buying a new one at this time.
