Hey guys! Great to see that everyone is enjoying the forum as the season comes to an end!My season came to an end when my Finn mast broke =(. Just putting out a line to see if anyone knows of a good used mast that is available? A new one is about $4000 for a carbon stick. Please let me know! Thanks, ------------------ Cody J. Thanks for the suggestions, haven't tried e-Bay yet. I am hoping Richard Clarke does well on the Mumm's this week at RCYC then he'll be a big boat guy with a Mumm Worlds and VOR under his belt he can just donate his Devoti Olympic Finn to me. I'd take, I promise.Cheers, Cody IP: 24.150.223.225 |

Cody:You should mention that Richard Clarke is crewing on Pegasus 20 with a 15-year-old skipper named Samuel "Shark" Kahn. Shark is in 1st place at the Mumm 30 World's at the RCYC. Shark's father, Philippe is on Pegasus 591 and is in 3rd place. This father-son duo is like Mario and Michael Andretti. Samuel recently came to stardom by winning the Melges 24 World Championship. The Kahns are from Honolulo. Richard Clarke was part of the Melges 24 crew and is now part of the Mumm 30 crew. This team has only been practicing on the Mumm 30 for a few weeks - Richard raced a Finn in the Olympics for Canada. Are these guys putting the rest of the sailing world to shame? I am humbled. I was unaware that RC was a crew on the Melges crew, he seems to big! The shark is something to behold, however the Aussies took the honours!Cheers, ------------------ Cody J.
