I recognize that most of the posts here concern Sandpipers or CL 16/14's, but I am looking for some help with my '92 Code 40, sail# 880.

After a couple hours of vigorous sailing I will find about 2-3 litres of water between the outer and inner hulls which I drain out on the trailer. I can see no hole or crack on the outside of the hull so I have to assume the water is getting in inside the centreboard trunk.

I have opened the inspection ports on the trunk to expose both ends of the pivot bolt and right after a sail both sides of the bolt seemed wet at both the washers, so I am assuming this is the source of my leak.

Are there any Code 40 sailors, or folks from CL, who can give me some suggestions on the best way to fix this problem?
