"Lake Effect" (#905) can't commit yet because because the first week of August will be our first week back at work after a -ahem- 3 month leave of absence (starting in 2 weeks, yippee!), and we haven't yet figured out the best way to weasel another day off.

Stan, Wind Chime cannot be boat #6. She is boat #1. It would not be a Rendezvous without her.

For the new members, and for those that just aren't aware, Stan arranged the first Rendezvous in Parry Sound, 2005. Of course he had some help. But without his push we would not be the fleet we are today. I think of Stan as the patriarch of the Sandpipers.

hey! I didn't say we (Lake Effect) WON'T come, just that we can't yet commit. Some tricky negotiations must be completed.

Pretty Brown is a likely "no show"...Life and boat repairs do not seem to be synchronous these days...and the trailer needs work...her owners on the other hand do have time, a tent and would like to "shmooze with the crews" for some of the time...Jo and Glen intend to attend...

I will have to pass again! This summer is renovations time on the house. Lots of $$$ and energy will go there. I will have to be content with watching the photos and videos again! \:\(
