Apparently there is an abundance of Sail Bags here, because we have stumbled upon some more. These tube style sail bags are 90 inches in length, and 8 in diameter, not to mention CHEAP!

$14.99

Those are very cool Kyle. For cruising, we made some long bolster like bags for storing clothes aboard Shortwave. They worked well but since it was sort of a test idea they're constructed of very light nylon. The large sail bags could be modified to make a nice sturdy "bunk boa".

Thats a cool construction. Do you find they take up too much room? The "Bunk Boa" sounds like a great idea...

We only sleep forward in the V-berth so the bunk-boas act as a nice back rest or bolster. There are several zippers along the tube for access. Fowl weather gear is close to the main hatch then, as you move forward you've got shorts then T-shirts, etc.
