Before any ride is operated, it is inspected by our show foreman and our show electrician. Then the ride foreman inspects and operates the ride. Finally the ride operator inspects and operates the ride. Then and only then is the ride open to the public.

As well as our own ride inspections, we hire an independent ride inspection company to check all of our rides. This is done early in the season as well as about half way through the operating season.

In Ontario, theTECHNICAL STANDARDS & SAFETY AUTHORITYis responsible for regulating the safety of amusement rides and devices, under the provincial Amusement Devices Act.

Ontario's safety laws for amusement rides are among the toughest in North America and T.S.S.A inspects our rides periodically to ensure that we comply with all of the regulations.

Crown Amusements is also inspected each week by the ELECTRICAL SAFETY AUTHORITY who are responsible for making sure that we have done our electrical work in accordance with  the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
